On June 14, 2025, the Christopher Street Day (CSD) will take place in Merseburg for the first time. This event advocates for the visibility and rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and other queer individuals (LGBTIQ+). The CSD has its origins in the Stonewall uprising of 1969 in New York and aims to show solidarity and demonstrate for the rights of queer people.
