Forest Experience Garden Rostock e.V.
The Forest Experience Garden Rostock is a green oasis located about 20 km from the Baltic Sea in the city of Rostock, at the picturesque Tannenweg 34A. This unique experience offers visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of sustainable vegetable cultivation and biodiversity. It is not just a garden, but a place where people come together to share the joy of gardening and healthy food.
The Plant Diversity and Offerings
The Forest Experience Garden is famous for its extraordinary plants. Here, not only everyday vegetables grow, but also rare varieties that are known for their uniqueness. This includes the "Elephant Trunk," a yellow pepper, and the "Devil's Ears," a lettuce with red leaf tips. In addition, there are over 40 different varieties of tomatoes and cucumbers, shaped like lemons or mini-watermelons. The garden project focuses not only on growing different vegetables but also on breeding young plants that can be used for one’s own garden.
