The studio, operated by TAIYO KATSURA, a renowned wig company, gives its guests the chance to step into the role of a traditional Geisha or Samurai and capture unforgettable memories.

The Experience

At the Studio GEISHA CAFE, visitors have the opportunity to dress in magnificent kimonos and stylish traditional clothing. The experienced staff assists in putting on the characteristic traditional wigs, which the studio provides with care and attention to detail. Whether you want to dress up as a Geisha, Samurai, or even a Princess, there is something for everyone. Each photoshoot includes two poses that can be perfectly captured to document this unique experience.

Prices and Offers

The prices for the various photoshoot experiences start at JPY 13,000 plus tax for shorter sessions and go up to JPY 30,000 for special wedding photoshoots. Young adventurers aged 13 and over are also welcome, as long as they exceed a height of 150 cm. Additionally, special offers such as the Shironuri Makeup and the Male Geisha Transformation experience are available and must be reserved in advance. A lucky child under 12 can participate in a Kits-Kimono experience and also look forward to a magical time.
