The NRW premiere of 'Queer as Punk' follows Faris, a transgender man and lead singer of the queer punk band Shh..Diam! from Malaysia. The documentary addresses the band's efforts for LGBTQI+ rights in a conservative Muslim society and highlights their courage, humor, and solidarity. The screening will take place at Lichtspiele Kalk in Cologne.
