Triangle Recreation Camp

The Triangle Recreation Camp (TRC) is a unique haven located in the picturesque foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Just 21 miles east of Granite Falls, Washington, this impressive 80-acre camp stretches along the Mountain Loop Highway. Founded in 1975 and operated by the LGBTQ+ community, TRC is a safe space for all aged 21 and over, where you can relax and enjoy the camping lifestyle.

Camping and Facilities

The campsites provide a communal atmosphere, with covered fire pits and picnic tables protected by tarps. Although the campsites are not equipped with running water, the portable toilets and handwashing stations on site are clean and well-maintained. Firewood can be purchased affordably on-site – perfect for a cozy night around the campfire. Remember to bring insect repellent, especially in July when bugs are active.

For those seeking a bit more comfort, RVs are also welcome, but reservations are required. The surroundings consist of 80 acres of untouched rainforest, perfect hiking trails, and scenic river views. The nature here is not only a sight to behold but also offers a refreshing escape in its icy waters.
