Winter Flight Schedule 2026/27: These Connections Make Your Next City Trip Easier

Bologna from Berlin, Tallinn, and Milan from Düsseldorf: What Counts for Planning a Weekend

Winter flight schedule 2026/27: Berlin–Bologna from November 2, Tallinn and Milan from Düsseldorf. Connections, airport transfer, and tips for travel planning.

A new winter flight schedule can make a weekend destination more interesting. However, it is not only crucial that a route is offered. The outbound and return flights must fit into your free days, and the journey from the airport to the city also needs to be taken into account. Three connections announced by Eurowings provide reason to plan the next city trip more concretely.

Berlin–Bologna: Start on November 2

Eurowings announces in the Flight updates from the Lufthansa Group Starting from November 2, 2026, there will be three weekly flights from Berlin to Bologna. This connection does not start today and is also not automatically available on a general flight schedule cutoff date. Check the individual travel days for your trip before you book accommodation.

The Marconi Express connects the airport to Bologna Centrale train station. The operator states that the journey takes about seven and a half minutes. This is the actual travel time, not a measure of the entire journey from landing to the hotel. Baggage claim, the walk to the station, and the onward journey should also be included in your planning.

On its Service page Marconi Express currently charges 12.80 euros for a one-way trip and 23.30 euros for a round trip. Regular service runs from 5:40 AM to midnight. In case of a late arrival, you should check the current notices and the night bus alternative.

Düsseldorf–Tallinn: Also offered in winter

The summer connection from Düsseldorf to Tallinn is being offered for the first time in the winter flight schedule 2026/27, with two flights per week. This limited frequency is particularly relevant for planning: a classic weekend from Friday to Sunday cannot be automatically derived from it.

First, compare the available flight days and then plan the duration of your trip. Two nights with unfavorable times may mean less stay than expected. Also, check the airport transfer directly with the local providers instead of adopting a generalized time from an older travel report.

Düsseldorf–Milan Linate: The airport makes a difference

Milan Linate is also set to be serviced from Düsseldorf for the first time in winter, with up to two flights daily. Linate and Malpensa are different airports. Therefore, when comparing prices, pay attention to the actual specified arrival and departure times. A seemingly similar flight may involve a different transfer and require a different amount of time.

That a connection is offered more frequently does not guarantee a specific price or availability on your desired day. Compare the total price including the required luggage and check the conditions for rebooking. Only then can you assess whether the offer fits your weekend.

Consider the entire trip before booking the hotel.

For all three goals, the following applies: First, secure a coherent combination of arrival, return flight, and transfer. If you want to attend queer events, check their date and venue separately. An additional flight is a practical way to access the city, but it does not constitute evidence of a specific program or the hospitality of accommodation.
